NO — I am an owner-operated establishment. You may book back-to-back treatments, and your spouse/family member or friend is welcome to relax while they wait.

Here’s how to prepare so your wax goes smoothly:

• Hair length: Your hair should be at least the length of a long grain of rice (about 1/8 inch). If it’s shorter, the wax may not be able to grip well.

• Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before your appointment with a mild sugar scrub or a soft washcloth to remove dead skin and help prevent ingrown hairs.

• Cleanliness: Please arrive freshly showered and with no oils, lotions, or heavy moisturizers on the skin we’ll be waxing. Clean, dry skin allows the wax to adhere properly.

• Medications & skin care: If you’re using retinoids, topical acne meds, or other exfoliating products, discontinue use as advised by your provider (typically several days to a week prior). If you have any concerns or are on medications that affect skin sensitivity, let me know before your appointment.

• Comfort tips: Wear comfortable clothing and, if needed, take an over-the-counter pain reliever about 30–60 minutes before your visit (check with your physician if you have any medical concerns). For bikini and Brazilian waxing, some clients find scheduling around their cycle helps with sensitivity.

• Skip heavy exercise for 24 hours if it causes excessive sweating or friction.

• If you experience persistent redness, swelling, or signs of infection (increasing pain, pus, or fever), contact us or seek medical attention.

We use hypoallergenic hard wax imported from Italy for all waxing services. This wax is formulated for sensitive skin, reduces irritation, and adheres only to the hair (not the skin) for a gentler removal and cleaner results. For eyebrows, we also keep a gentle soft wax available and use it rarely—only when a specific brow shape or client preference calls for it.
